The latest issue of Lonny Magazine, features pointers on outdoor entertaining. Who better to do this, than caterer to the stars Lulu Powers?
Powers declares that there are no set rules for your tablescape. But, she definitely uses color to set a tone. She also includes personal touches such as writing guests names on porcelain dishware (Sharpie- it washes off with soap and sponge)
Other tips: bug spray and/or citronella candles, bucket’s for ice and drinks and an iPod dock with speakers.
Powers’ secret item for outdoor entertaining? Candle light. She also freezes fruit in water for her Sangrias. One thing I like to do, is freeze mint in ice molds (for Mojitos!)
