I’ll be busy all day today turning: one step closer to “The New 30” (how is that for cryptic). And a low key birthday it will be: The Mr is out of town so it’ll just be me and little man. But if I were having a party, I would put it together based on some of the sweet and glam ideas I’ve gathered via my Pinterest board dining & entertaining. And I hope that it would look a little something like this…
Oh yes. But, for this year, it’ll probably be me, a glass of chardonnay and the Blue Jasmine DVD I’ve been holding on to for about two months now.

Happy almost birthday, Santa!! A low key weekend sounds just perfect — but I’d eat the sprinkles right off those party hats if I even got near them 😉 Have a great weekend, and let me know how Blue Jasmine is! In terms of Woody Allen movies I haven’t advanced past Midnight in Paris yet, haha. xoxo

yesterday i asked my oldest, fisher, how old i was. i thought i was a year younger! apparently i did a good job blocking out this last b-day. but at that point i decided i am just going to be how old i think i am, no more fact-checking! have a happy “new 30!” xo

Happy Birthday! That does look like a splendid party–those gold-dipped balloons are a fab idea. And I do have a deep love of succulents! Hope the little guy is treating you well!

Thank you Karin. Little guy’s gift was letting me sleep in all the way until 8am!

Thank you Meghan! Well, you know how they say that 30 is the new 20? I decided that 40 is The New 30! I actually turned 39 on Friday.
