Made as a limited edition of 40, this pendant light measuresĀ about 24″ with a height of 10.75″.Ā A mass of nudes hovers in a representation of Rubens’ The Fall of the Damned. It was designed by Luc Merx and uses aĀ 3D printing innovation where digitally created designs are āprintedā with a laser. The result is a piece made up of intricateĀ layers.
That is a spectacular piece that is visionary, dramatic personal, comfortable in the kitchy overtones, and then transcends that with the high concept. Great!
