A: No.
It didn’t take me very long to find a blogger who had already come up with some questions of her own. Delen Kitchen, a self professed “plant lover of the highest degree” and author of the blog Plant Propaganda contacted creator of the Babylon Light, Ryan Taylor with a few questions of her own. At one point, when asked about the potential damage of the heat in the lamp to plant roots, he does state that “the electrical component is sealed off from where the water is held.” Which I think covers our question.
For more answers on the lamp, including what plants may work best with it, be sure to check out Plant Propaganda’s post!

Later in the week, I also featured the Magisso Cake Server on my I Spied post.
A: The idea behind this item is that it is “for cutting and serving of cake with one tool in one simple motion”.
Basically, you cut into your dessert with the apparatus, apply pressure to the handle in order to hold it in place, scoop up and out – enjoy.
To be honest, I still wonder if the dessert slides out cleanly every time…

Ha! Two questions answered (and I was thinking both of them!). The cake server is interesting, but I suppose more often than not you’d end up sticking your thumb into the frosting to push it out of the device, haha.

Thanks for the reference, I’m glad I wasn’t the only one thinking these things! 🙂

Thanks for the update! This is how the dessert thingy works. I wonder if it really comes out neat or if you have to somehow pry it out and then mess of the slice of cake. I guess one of us needs to try it out in person 😉
