U Beauty Pots & Plants specializes in pots made from recycled materials. The ones shown here are hand crafted from old tires that would otherwise end up in a landfill. The tires are stripped down and, using leather working tools and techniques, what is left is then transformed into these containers good for planting or storage.
The operation is based out of Australia, but has an international presence. The tire pots, for example, are produced in a former leather workshop in Pakistan. U Beauty also carries pots made from coconut fibers which are made in Sri Lanka and gardening gloves made from recycled bottles in Vietnam.
