Happy 2012 everyone! I hope you all had an amazing holiday and that you are as excited as I am about the upcoming year. Over the past couple of days, I’ve started making some subtle changes to the site(ie- I’ve finally added an image to the ‘about‘ page). I hope you’ll bear with me as I play around with the site a little more over the coming weeks.
I am putting together a little Zara Home shopping list. One of the treats of our annual trip to Spain, is being able to drop in on this store. We do have Zara clothing shops in The States, but haven’t been lucky enough to get the home wares version of the chain yet. So I have been studying looking over their website and online catalog for some shopping ideas.

Happy New Year Santa! I had no idea that in Europe Zara also has a home furnishings line! Sadly, I don’t think Zara is doing well in Chicago. The items aren’t flying off the shelves and even with their sales items aren’t really budging!

I’ve visited a Zara home store for the first time this week when I was in Germany. Too bad I didn’t have any space left in my suitcase because they had some really nice stuff in the store…
I was being introduced to Zara Home a few months ago while browsing design blogs. They sure have some nice stuff, I really hope they will come to Chicago soon! While browsing their website a while ago, I was in love with their vases (the ones you picked) as well.
