Hello & Happy Friday.
As we head towards the weekend, I am gearing up for some architecture and design in the city. I’ve volunteered for the Open House New York (OHNY)– an event that gives everyone an opportunity to get an inside look at many of the city’s architectural/design gems.
And while on the topic, I can’t think of any other spot in the city which has become a tourist attraction quicker than The High Line park. The park was built as an elevated green way on west side, using rail road lines that have long since been used. It is full of lush greenery, fun views of different city neighborhoods, and my favorite, people watching!
I had the privilege of enjoying a beautiful day of leisure recently where I walked the park with my girlfriend Luisa from end to end. Here are some images of that stroll.

Have a lovely weekend. Oh, and if you are in the area, my post with OHNY is tomorrow at One Museum Mile. Stop by and say hello!

I wish I could come say hello to you tomorrow! Enjoy OHNY, it sounds like it will be awesome as usual. I love the High Line. I think it’s the simplest and yet most wonderful urban transformation I’ve seen in a long time, and I love that people are so in love with it. Somehow we always gravitate towards The Standard after a stroll and end up having a few drinks. Not a bad thing. 🙂 Have a great weekend! xo

The High Line looks so amazing. Need to definitely check it out the next time I’m in New York. Have a great time during OHNY (perhaps you will run into Nina), and a wonderful weekend!

I still haven’t gone to see the High Line and by the time I get up there, it’ll be winter and probably not as lush and green
