I think I’m going to make a plea that every month should have a weekend like this past one. It was the most leisurely weekend- ever. I finally got to tackle that never ending/ever growing magazine pile, watched the Olympic marathons (yes, two weeks later) and even had a couple of hours of just sitting in Central Park people watching.
We did manage to get over to The Met for the “Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations” exhibit. As usual, no photos allowed. But here are some images from within and around the museum.

Oh wow that dude can draw! Just like the original.
We did not go to MET last time we were in NY but when I was there with my mom few years back we went and I liked it a lot. I liked espacially the rooms they had built there showing different houses from asia, europe and so on.

Oh wow! I hope to have the chance to visit the Met, last time I was in NYC, there wasn’t anytime. I was just there for a weekend sadly.

Fabulous! I’m sure the exhibit was wonderful – a sunny day in the Big Apple – perfect! ;-))

So gorge! The exterior architecture alone’s got me wanting more! Prada and Schiaparelli make for the most interesting pairing but I guess it makes perfect sense since design is all a matter of proportions! Great coverage!
Would love to get your thoughts on my most recent hotel renovation when you get a chance! Hope to see you soon!

Peace. Love. LOL!

You should definitely make sure you have one leisurely weekend a month! The pictures look amazing and I know how great it feels to get rid of magazines. I think I went through a stack about 3′ high {wish I was exaggerating} a month ago. It was a pain but the after was so nice. 🙂

Sounds like a great w/end, and I bet the people watching in Central Park is fascinating! When I was younger we used to find a good cafe and do lots of people watching. These days we spend more time counting heads, making sure our kids are all still accounted for! x

Sounds like a great weekend! I need to see the cloud city sculpture on top of the Met, it is on my to-do list. Unfortunately didn’t make the Prada exhibition. And don’t even get me started on my magazine pile, it’s reaching unbelievable heights…
