Hello and Happy Friday!
There is something about nautical themed fashion and home decor- I’m a big fan. Maybe it’s because it creates the illusion feeling of being on permanent holiday by the sea.
Imagine my happy surprise, on a recent trip to Anthropologie, to find that the retailer has a plethora of deep-sea themed accessories for the home. From shower curtains to bottle openers. Anchors, mermaids (and mermen) and octopi – they are all there. So, let’s dive in (sorry, couldn’t be helped).

oooo. i love the top photo of those … bowls? cups? whatever they are i absolutely love them. i have been thinking about working on adding some navy and brass/gold in my house somewhere. this might be a good place to take a little inspiration from.
Awww the tea towel is so cute. Was any of it on sale?
…not yet. The “Merfolk Tea Towel” is $18. But keep an eye out for end of season sales in a couple of months 😉

They had a tee with watercolor whales printed all over it not that long ago that I was lusting after. I have a thing for whales! Love everything in that store. xo

Hello, dear! I have so much to say! First off, being in a beach community, you have to be so, so careful in how you decorate. As you can imagine (I’m sure!), it’s easy to go over the top beachy and become a total cliche!
That being said, I love nautical and beach themed decor too. I just have to temper myself. 🙂 And! AND! We have an Anthropolgie coming here soon. I can’t wait!
