Although school days have come and gone, I still get super excited at the thought of a “snow day”. In fact, it’s really the only thing I like about snow: the idea of being home bound, watching the weather develop safely from indoors.
So, when we woke up on Saturday to snow, I happily cancelled all plans and prepared for a day (or two) of being holed up.
All I would need were a few essentials…
Hope your weekend was entertaining, warm and yummy too!

I must agree…snow days still get me excited as well. I did the same thing with my snow day. My essentials: good book and magazine, hot tea and coffee, and some great movies and TV shows.

i’ve never experienced a snow day and have always thought they would be a nice little break. i remember what day it was emergency travel only and we still went to school!

Aww, I wish I had a snow day. Not a snowball’s chance in hell here in Texas

Oh, I love days like that. We don’t really get snow here in Hawke’s Bay, NZ, except high up in the hills, but I love to do the same on cold rainy days. xxx

I took my snow day on the couch on Sunday with lots of hot tea and a good book. Too bad the snow is already gone now…
