I finally settled on a wall calendar for 2013 and I’m super happy with it. I wound up with a letterpress calendar from Steel Petal Press that fit both, form (a neutral and modern design with my 11×14 requirement) and function.
But this Chicago based company has a an even bigger selection of fun cards. Founder Shyana Norwood states that she hand feeds “each card individually through the press making each one slightly different and unique in it’s own way.” There are also some other fun items, like cocktail recipe printed coasters.

The coasters are just adorable, and you could letterpress anything and I’d probably swoon over it, haha. Good choice of calendar. I’ve been waiting on one I’ve been eying to go on sale (it’s March! It has to be on sale at some point, right??) but haven’t bought one yet for 2013. Yours is great!

Good choice in terms of design plus function!
I bought my husband a gray coat similar to Ian’s at J. Crew a few seasons ago.

Beautiful. I have a fling for those prints with the print sunk into to the card. I don’t know what that thing is called but it makes the cards look valuable.

The technique is referred to as letterpress Lena and you are absolutely right, it does make a stationery item look much more elegant.

Oh, this post reminds that I still haven’t gotten a calendar for this year. How did that happen? Like your choice and the cards and coasters are super cute as well.
