I don’t know if it is due to the fact that the holidays follow shortly after, but Fall definitely puts entertaining on the brain for me. And part of that, of course, are serving ware (and cocktails!)
Although I personally have the classic flutes, it always puts a big smile on my face when I am served wine in a stemless glass. The casual appearance sets me at ease and let’s me know that the hosts are relaxed and ready for a good time. (Yes, forget judging by the book. I judge by the wine glass.)

Those Target champagne flutes are amazing. I’m intrigued by stemless wine glasses, but I only drink white wine and I’m always worried my hand will make it warm.

My dishwasher has done a number on all of my stemmed wineglasses, so now I’m left with the stemless that I bought for a party a couple of years ago. They seem to be very durable! Mine have the chalkboard square from Pier 1 – the only drawback is that the writing seems to smudge off during use. Good idea in theory… This reminds me that I need to get some stemmed ones for the upcoming holidays. Thanks for the post!

chalkboard paint on glasses for parties does sound like a stroke of genius (sorry to hear that maybe it isn’t)
