Creator and designer Christina Weber started the Studiopatró line with a William Morris quote at heart: “Have nothing in your house that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful.”
The tea towels are hand printed with eco friendly water-based inks and the aprons would even make me look like someone who knows what is going on in the kitchen.

Beautiful, loving the pink, it’s just the perfect pink. Not too hot, but not too light either and as a small dose that would perk up our kitchen nicely.

“make me look like someone who knows what is going on in the kitchen.” Hahaha, then I need one of those, too! I have my eye on a less-earth-friendly one from Anthro that would definitely ‘look the part’ of competent kitchen dweller. xo

those aprons are gorgeous. i think they look more sophisticated than the clothing i wear on a daily basis. love the natural dyes – love the color palette. so pretty!

I adore that quote. It sums up everything I feel about my home right now. We have so many beautiful and useful new items, mostly in the kitchen, and in order to have room for them in our small space, we have to get rid of old things. I now look at every item with that mentality: it has to have a purpose or have to be absolutely beautiful to me and fill me with joy whenever I simply look at it. Such a perfect quote.

Good on you Yelle- more of us should adopt that quote (and by that, I mean me).

I love those towels, although I love stripes and polka dots so the odds were in my favor for that. It’s great they are printed with water based inks as well!
