Thank you for all the comments and suggestions on the dresser turned changing table over the weekend. Most of you seem to agree that I should skip the hardware. I think I will follow Erin’s suggestion and try to live with it for a bit as is and see how it goes…
Woo Hoo- it is official: Summer is here! This is a time when suddenly my blog posts become all about outdoor/balcony living, gardening and beach homes. And my dreams turn to open rooms like the one above. To step right out of bed onto a deck and pool, not a bad way to start the week.

this is almost torturous santa! look at how beautiful that space is. i am not a napper but i would love to spend my days going from the pool to the bed, the pool to the bed. and all the time in between lounging with a good summer novel. what a gorgeous space. whoever lives there is lucky.

As long as that bed has a comfortable breeze (or hidden central air 🙂 I could lay there for hours. Or dip my feet in the pool when I got too hot! Christine is right, this is torture! xo
