I am starting off the week with one of my obsessions: teepees and tents for kid rooms. I know. I know. They can take up quite a bit of real estate (and that is why, we don’t have one- insert tears here). But if you have the space, it is such a darling way to give little ones a place for hiding, privacy, pretend playing- the list goes on. And you could always fold it up when not in use.
Teepees
Teepees were originally used by Native American tribes as dwellings for their nomadic lifestyles. With these sweet and mini versions, the kiddos could take shelter for all of their pretend playing.
Tents
A tent is defined as “portable shelter” and, historically speaking, its most common spot would be on a camping ground. The same would be true of kid tents. They could easily be moved from place to place. Unlike the real deal though, these can simply be folded up flat and put away when not in use.
These two black and white options amp up the hip factor.
…and a diy…

How fun are these! I would’ve loved a cool teepee to play in when I was a kid.
