Well I hope the weekend doesn’t fly by the way that week just did…
As you may already know, Pantone has declared Emerald Green (17-5641) colour of the year. I for one am a fan of green in just about any shade and can’t wait to see have it’s moment. I also thought it would be extra fitting to leave you for this St. Patrick’s Day weekend with a look at some interiors that have have allowed this darker hue of the colour to take center stage.

Pantone, while I love them, always confuses me with their color of the year selections. Not that I dislike emerald, if anything, these photos are really making me love it even more! I really like that bathroom at the end. Like, really really.

i have always stayed away from green, i think because as a kid with red hair every single woman i ever met or passed in the grocery store would declare “You should wear GREEN!!” but i am kind of falling in love with it right now and i am wanting that bathroom. the green looks absolutely perfect in it!

I know what you mean about the weeks flying by, it’s insane!
I haven’t used Emerald green anywhere yet in my spaces.. I’m still adding yellow accents all over the place! But I do love those frames on the walls!

Green is one of my favourite colours. Always has been! While I’m not sure I would have the guts to paint my walls in this bright and lush shade, I absolutely adore the look of it!

I’m always at a loss to find anything to wear in that bright shade of green for St. Patty’s Day because not much of an emerald green fan – I go for more muted shades of green.
However, I could be talked into that bathroom, it’s pretty amazing.

I do like this color, especially against an otherwise black and white palette. These interior examples you pulled above are making me love it even more. Those painted frames are so clever.
