Another fun stop in Brooklyn. Before strolling down to this store, we tried to hit up it’s sister shop, Brownstone Treasures. Alas, it was closed. But, Yesterday’s News did not disappoint. It is full of goodies…inside and out.
I couldn’t resist this “Perfect Mason” Ball jar. I fell in love with the colour and decided it worked even with the rubber lip left on.

I can’t walk past a shop like this one without at least inspecting the windows 🙂
..and love the name of this one!

I clicked over to you from ‘b for bel’ and am in LOVE with your blog!!
This post on antique stores in Brooklyn makes me want to book the earliest bus ticket tomorrow and go! Actually I’ve had thrift store shopping in NYC on my to do list for way too long! And I found about 10 things I would buy from your pictures alone 🙂
I have a growing collection of mason jars too…they are hard to pass up! They make perfect vases, utensil holders and even look beautiful empty on a windowsill 🙂
I will definitely be following you from now on and I’d love it if you checked out my blog too 🙂
