Hello & Happy Friday!
This weekend we are gearing up for Cinco de Mayo. A day that, in this day and age, is a celebration of Mexican heritage. But, a little background: it’s historical background is as commemoration of Mexico’s victory in a battle against France in 1862.
Are you celebrating Cinco de Mayo this weekend? If so, a few tips/ideas to turn your gathering into a true fiesta.

En verdad Angelica, es mas importante para los Americanos (y aquellos Mexicanos que viven por aquí). Y no, no soy Mexicana. Soy nacida en los Estados Unidos pero mi familia es de Republica Dominicana. 😉 Lindo feliz de semana a ti también querida.

Oh man, are those mini margaritas in the tiny Patron bottles?? Goodness gracious! I love any holiday that’s an excuse to inhale more guacamole, so let’s celebrate!

i adore mexican culture but i always seem to miss cinco de mayo. i need to remedy that because we have a lot of festivities that happen here to celebrate and a really large one downtown. all the colors are intoxicating and the food delicious and the music so festive, this has inspired me to try to go this weekend. these images are just so gorgeous! i especially love that tin and the little margaritas.

I love the vibrant colors of the first table top. I also think the little Patron bottles are adorable, I received one for Christmas and love the tiny size as much as I love the free tequila. 🙂 Happy Cinco de Mayo!

I love that table runner! We were traveling back home today, but we did have a couple of margaritas last night on Catalina Island. Happy Cinco de Mayo.
