Today’s home tour takes us to one of seven units in a Vancouver townhouse complex. And when designer Kelly Deck was asked to consult on the design for the units, she became smitten with the location. She became one of the homeowners in the development and took on the challenge of designing her own home.
The square footage is divided into three levels. This could leave each level feeling small or cramped. But Deck maximizes the 1200 square feet (111 sq m) space with a good dose of form and function.
The open-concept of the main level includes a living area with top to bottom windows that flood the space with natural lighting. There is also a kitchen that doubles as the dining area.
On the second and third floors, the sleeping quarters with a guest room that doubles as a home office.
