Thanks again for all of the great tips on magazine storage/disposal yesterday. I needed that. It’s the 2-3 subscriptions plus the fact that The Mr works in marketing and brings magazines home almost every single day.
But, moving on.
Today I thought it’d be fun to do a round up of photo pillows. This trend takes actual photographic images, and transfers them onto pillows, many times adding a textured effect. It works particularly well with elements found in nature. But, can be just as fun with an unexpected image, like a camera.

Cool photo pillow DIY! I just purchased a dog photo pillow for a client .. they cracked up when I proposed it since I emailed them the photo of the pillow with the title ‘want to adopt a dog’ 🙂

Oooooo, how great! I am in love with that duck! Though I wonder how it would feel to wake up in the morning nose to beak with him?! I also love all the By Nord photographic bedding (bears, wolves etc) and I see H&M are even doing a little photographic bear pillow for the little ones. Fantastic post!

I love the duck pillow, so cute. I’m with Niki, I’ve always admired the Scandinavian pillows with animal photographs. x

These are so cute! I had my heart set on no. 4 but now that I look again, I love no. 1, 5 and 7!

The duck pillow is so fun! I love it. I don’t know how long I’ve been thinking to print out images and ironing them on fabrics, just haven’t got the perfect idea of what to do and have not bought that “paper” to print on. Thanks for the reminder.

Love love love all of those pillows. I’ve had really bad luck with iron-on transfers in the past. They tend to be stiff and can crinkle and crack if used too much. But for decoration that pillow is really special! The Photojournalist in me really digs that camera pillow 😉

I don’t know Erin, I think a picture of “Gary Oldman in turtleneck” might look pretty cool…
