I am leaving you for the weekend with a look at the upcycled homewares of Yvonne Ellen. This UK based creative, takes the loveliest of vintage tableware pieces and transforms them with illustrations.
The plate pairs featuring animals are quite unique. The collection also features teacups, tea pots and tea towels(hmm, I’m sensing a theme somewhere in there…). The teacup set shown here, seems perfectly mismatched. Tied in by pastel colors and gold accents.
These food and drink safe items are sweet, whimsical and unique. A sureway to get the conversation going at the dinner table no doubt.

These are so charming and quirky! The flamingo reminds me of something out of Alice and Wonderland (the tea party!). Where did you first hear about Yvonne? Thank you for the intro! (Though my wishlist just got longer!)
