Welcome Back Fall

Why, hello there lovelies.

Summer

I hope your Summers were equal parts fun-filled and down-time.

I have to say, we had a very enjoyable Summer around these parts. Many outings with friends, fun times with Junior (who is already 3 years old!) and many trips to the beach.  All sealed with plenty of sun and ice cream. Doesn’t get better than that.

But now, time to get back.

Fall is here!

My best friend is always telling me how the Fall is always a time of renewal for her. I am starting to believe it for myself. In terms of the longing for cleanliness and organization in our home, I would say September is right up there with Spring and New Year’s. Time to declutter our spaces, get rid of unused items such as clothing, books and toys. And time to change from our Spring/Summer decor into our Fall/Winter accessories if you are into that sort of thing (which I totally am.)

I for one have already put in a flea market stint and have the donation boxes ready to ship out. As always, I also have a nice long list of home improvement projects. Feeling as hopeful as a Marie Kondo disciple on December 31st over here!
